Here at Northern Shores Dental Group, we love meeting new patients. If you are interested in becoming a patient in our practice, it's important to understand our current policies for 2025:

Cleanings & General Care: We are currently accepting new patients on a very limited basis. As most offices in our area have stopped participating with dental insurance, the demand for cleaning appointments for patients and their families has increased significantly. We are slowly taking in new patients for cleanings as our schedule permits. If you are curious about our capacity for cleanings, please call and ask about this specifically. If someone has referred you to our office, please let us know.

Emergency Care: All of our doctors maintain time in their schedules for emergency services for all patients, whether new or existing. If you have a specific problem that urgently needs our attention, please communicate this with our team and we will try to help you as quickly as we can.

Cosmetics/Invisalign/Smile Consults/Implants: Dr. Kay maintains openings in his schedule daily to consult with patients regarding specific treatment options. If you are interested in discussing your dental options with him, please communicate this with us immediately and we will be sure to schedule you as soon as we can.

Insurance: All of our doctors and clinical providers are In-Network, Preferred providers with Delta Dental Insurance and have no plans to change this. As of Fall 2025, we are out-of-network with all other insurance companies, but we still submit claims to these insurance companies for our patients. This means you can still use your dental benefits in our office but will be covered on an out-of-network basis.
